Vicki’s career in nursing began in 1985, when she graduated with her Nursing Degree from Marion Technical College. An advocate for pursuing further education, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2005 from Excelsior College and Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Otterbein University in 2009.

Vicki M. Delany, MSN, BSN, RN, FNP, CCRN, CEN, attended Marion Technical College in Marion, Ohio, and was awarded her nursing degree in 1985. Her credentials include her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing received at Excelsior College (2005) and her Master of Science degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner concentration earned at Otterbein University (2009). She is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, is a Certified Emergency Nurse as well as a Certified Critical Care Nurse, and remains at the forefront of her challenging field via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations, such as the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses, the Emergency Nurse Association, and the Ohio Nurses Association. Moreover, Vicki attained induction into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She feels that her success is attributable primarily to her love for nursing and her first emergency room manager, Mary McWilliams, who was very inspirational and influential and has guided her through self-reflection, allowing her to see positive qualities in herself. Outside work, she dedicates to her family, exercising, public speaking and precepting nurse practitioner students and is on the American Health Council’s Board of Nurses.
